Post subject: Optimizing the process usage on the task manager
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>work_remotely (more info?)

My computer is working really slow, and i think it is due to the amount of
processes that are running on the windows task manager, even when no programs
are running on my computer. The amount of processes running on avarage is
about 55 at rest. How do I find out which processes affect the stability of
my computer and are necessary? How can I figure out which ones I need to
delete and how can I keep them from coming back up every time i log on my
computer?
